Founded in 2003, Graduate Leverage has assisted more than 65,000 students and originated over $3.3 billion in loans. Graduate Leverage offers the following loans and services: Federal Stafford Loans - PLUS Loans - Graduate PLUS loans - Transitional Loans (including Bar Study, Residency, Relocation and Internship Loans) – Financial Literacy Programs – the Student Plus Program (newly launched in 2009)
New! Program for Undergraduate Students
The Student Plus Program is designed to give undergraduate students an alternative to high cost private student loans. The Student Plus Program helps more families use the Federal Direct Parent PLUS Loan by arranging for the student to make payments on the loan following graduation. This is accomplished through establishing a formal agreement between the parent, student and Graduate Leverage, as the service provider. Families benefit from a lower cost option that fits their needs and schools are assured of a stable and integrated loan program that fits existing processes.

Financial Literacy Programs and Seminars
Graduate Leverage has conducted debt management and financial literacy seminars at hundreds of professional graduate schools throughout the United States. The goal of our programs is to provide relevant and actionable information that will help student borrowers lower the cost of their debt. While topics range from budgeting, understanding funding options and the cost of borrowing, our primary focus is effective debt management during repayment. This includes providing real world scenarios of how borrowers may utilize government programs and proven debt management strategies to lower the cost of their debt.

Recognizing that schools have specific procedures for students applying for financial aid, Graduate Leverage has an open platform to accommodate various processes, data exchange, and delivery of funds.
We support any number of processing scenarios across all of our products and work with the leading data exchange and disbursement platforms as well as many of the national guarantor agencies.
