Request a Loan Assessment
GL's Expedited Application System:
Thank you for choosing Graduate Leverage to assist you with your consolidation
this year. Due to overwhelming response from students and recent graduates
seeking a streamlined process to secure their federal consolidation, we are
pleased to now offer an expedited application. This expedited process will
allow you to complete your consolidation application in 10 minutes. If you
choose this option, your consolidation will contain a 1% interest rate
reduction after 17 timely payments (the fastest-achievable interest rate
reduction in the industry) and a .25% discount for automatic payment
processing.
In addition to the loan terms outlined below, Graduate Leverage's analytics team
will determine that the loans you elect for consolidation make economic sense.
Those loans that do not optimize your consolidation will be excluded.
Consolidation Terms:
If you proceed with our recommendation your consolidation will be originated by
US Bank as eligible lender trustee for Graduate Leverage and guaranteed by The
Educational Credit Management Corporation (ECMC). ECMC is a national non-profit
student loan agency with one of nation's lowest default rates. The terms for
your consolidation will be:
-
Timely Payment Incentive: Your consolidation loan will contain a 1% rate
reduction after 17 timely payments and a 0.25% discount for electronic payment
processing.
-
Nine Month Payment Deferral: In order to replace the payment grace period which
was lost on any in-school consolidation, loans will be placed in forbearance or
deferment to cease payments and maximize interest subsidies. No payments will
be due until February, 2008.
-
Loan Sale Restriction and Borrower Benefit Contract: All borrowers receive
legal assurances that their loan will not be sold and that the applicable
borrower benefits will not be changed or discontinued. You can view the
agreement at the following link:
